subpixel is a place to build and explore small pixel worlds. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.
What we store
- Nothing about you, except your email address, and only when you choose to sign in.
- Your email is used solely to establish who you are, so we can verify your access to worlds and content you create or are permitted to edit.
- A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is stored in your browser,

What we do not do
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information.
- We do not build profiles or track your activity across other sites.
Sign-in providers
If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), that provider handles authentication and returns your verified email address to us. We receive only your email, and their own privacy policy governs their part of the process.
Content you create
Worlds and edits you make are stored so they persist and can be shown to others. Content published on the platform may be publicly visible. Your email is associated with your content only to control who may edit it.
Deleting your data
You can sign out at any time to remove the session cookie. To have your account and associated content removed, contact us at the address below.

Using the service
- Use subpixel lawfully and respectfully. Do not upload or create content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes others' rights.

You retain ownership of what you create. By publishing it on subpixel, you allow us to store and display it as part of operating the platform. Content published on shared or public worlds may be visible to others.
